I Don't Wanna Clean

I was trying to take yet another photo of Lily sitting on fabric when she decided to leap off the table instead. Made for an interesting picture, as she's about to spring into action.

Speaking of springing into action, turns out a long-time quilting friend is coming to visit today. I'm really excited to see her, it's been far too long, but I just can't get myself moving this morning to start cleaning. (I have admitted how incredibly slovenly I am, right?) Fairly soon the clock will tick down and that will panic me into action, but at the moment, here I sit.

Other than the impending visit, no news from here. Life has been wonderfully unexciting.

We're in the same boat. I have a friend and my DIL arriving in 90 minutes to spend the day quilting and I have no motivation to get off the couch and start moving.

Have fun with your visit today.

I need to have company to get motivated to clean too - hope you have fun - I was thinking I might need to find a quilt store to wander around in today - feels like that kind of day already
any news on when you get to move?

Maybe you could train the kitties to clean for you. Or are they more into messing up? Lol.

Have a great day and looking forward to hearing about it :)

a true friend comes to see you, not your house. Leave it messy!, pull out more fabric and claim creativity :-)

I doubt she will even notice...of course there was this time I had quilters over and they snuck in to have a laugh at my sewing room while I wasn't looking. Not that it scarred me for life or anything - just put a lock on the fabric room door. :)

Great action shot. I can't see much but it looks pretty clean to me. Have a great day.

Hey Ton,I've lived alone for almost 13 years now, and cleaning or straightening up is highly over rated.
If she's a quilting friend, just pull out the quilting stuff, make some tea and enjoy the visit. Plenty of time to clean if someone critic is coming..*VBS* Love the action shot. With Ebby posing is always a gamble unless she's laying down, paws tucked under. Hugs, Finn

Thank goodness life has been wonderfully unexciting after all the trials you've been through of late :o)
