The Story So Far

I just had to take a look at Slither Eek Boo so far. Isn't this fabulous? If you click on the photo, should get a really large pic to look at.

Today is the last official day to make me a block for this quilt. I know there are more wonderful blocks to come - I've seen some of them and they're fantastic. I might just end up with two quilts cuz look at how massive this thing is already. I cheated and slipped in some blocks that I haven't posted about individually yet. That's coming, I promise. I got three more packages in the mail on Saturday (from Judy S, Cherie and Beena) -- I'm so far behind now!

But I so so love all the work you guys have done. Amazing stuff.

Pokey is my sweetheart again. After I sat down and started hand quilting yesterday, Bibi jumped on my lap. That drew Pokey out from under the bed. Whew. So all the cats are good, I'm good and my sweetheart arrives tomorrow. I've got chores to do, so signing out now. Ya'all take care.

Hi,
Thanks so much for posting all the blocks together. I have been going back looking at them because I was going to do an orange background and I wasn't sure if you have too much orange. I'm still not sure!
In answer to your e-mail, I do like "Pushing Up Daisies " (Sp?)
I think I will have one more cup of coffee and go to my sewing corner.

Rattle is brilliant. I love it.

You take care of you and yours. ENJOY. That is a very very happy word. Just a pity it has five letters :-).

Wow, these all look so great! That is going to be a simply fabulous quilt! I was afraid my Woooo would be too big, but I think it looks OK with the others. So many wonderful words/fonts! Doesn't this make you happy, Tonya? And look at the influence you've had on so many people....wonderful!

Glad to hear that things are going OK with Pokey. She'll get used to the procedure and settle down.

Enjoy having your husband with you!

Wow! What an amazing compilation! It will be a lot of fun for you to make it into a full quilt(s)! And I'm so excited for my word to be a part of it!

Thanks for posting this with everything else you have going on, Tonya. Glad Pokey came out from under the bed, and really happy your sweetheart hubby will be home there for you.

I can't believe there are so many variations in fonts! It was a great idea to get different people to do different letters. I love it!

My first thought was, "hey! she hadn't posted that slurp yet!" and I was right.

I still love that argh. Every time I see it, it makes me giggle. It's so lovely in it's arghiness.

Oh no! My DH made me go on holiday with him, so I've only just posted my gurgle to you. Hope you get to use it (as it was quite a challenge!) The rest of the words look great together.

PS - I'm so very glad to hear about Pokey. My little Cinder had many more happy years, with some continual health maintenance as well
