Folk Art Birdies

I am fabulously in love with this fabric, Birds of Norway by Michael Miller.

Pokey's been enjoying it too. Get those strings, baby!

I've since bought even more fabric than this. Much more fun to go to quilt shops than work on that writing I'm supposed to be doing.

It looks like Pokey is trying to eat that bird, lol. Im with you on liking that fabric. Can't wait to see what you make with it. The writing will come, give it time.

Uh oh-I think I need to find that print. What a great one for borders and backings too!

I love that fabric - I'm a huge fan of Scandinavian folk art - and the fabric is perfect. The colors of fabrics you've got it paired with are great!

Lovely fabric, Tonya-
The folk art look is wonderful - I will look forward to see what you create with it.

I found the letters in your last post interesting- the contrast makes so much difference.
Nice to see Pokey feeling so much better. Very glad to hear that your tests all came back clear!
I am sure the writing will come when you are ready -
In the meantime, enjoy playing in the fabric!
Regards,
Anna

Looks like you've been celebrating your good news with fabric, not ice cream! I too love the folk art bird fabric. I'll have to see if I can find some of that!

Pokey vanquished those pesky threads - Yay!

I think someone's going to say you've been rolling around in fabric again when they see that lot.

Birds of Norway is gorgeous and those stripes are yummy too.

Looks like you're not the only one who loves that fabric! The last photo of the yawn is too precious.

Hello from sunny California. I am so happy to see Pokey back to having fun. I just had to drop a line to let you know I was luck enough to sit next to Gwen at our local guild meeting Monday night. She was a delight and a fabulous speaker I loved her quilts and am once again inspired. Her books are great.
