I'm Still Here

It feels like ages since I've posted. I have been busy on the computer though - I've got the Summer Class blog up and running and there are all sorts of great ideas percolating over there.

I've been moving at half speed - just not much zing in me. I did get all the arms of my lone star together. And sized up. Can I just say - eeeeeek. More on that another day.

Even though the weather is still supposed to be dreary tomorrow, I've got something to look forward to. A visit from a quilter. Hmm, who can it be? I know she's posted some hints on her blog about a train trip.

Finally, a kitty picture that doesn't have a quilt and isn't Pokey. Instead it's the boys being sweet. They often sleep in this old recliner together, though not necessarily in each other's arms.

Kinda embarassing how ratty this chair is - my husband will be mortified to know I posted a pic of it on the web. Oh well. It's the boys' chair now.

Awwww, such sweet kitties. I grew up in a household with a cat, and all the neighbors had 2, 3, or 4 cats, but I can't have a cat now--hubby is allergic. I go over to my current neighbors' houses to get my cat fix.

And don't worry about the chair--I think everyone has one like it.

Yep--everyone with a dog or cat definitely has a chair like that. Goes with the territory. Love the pic--hadn't realized you had the two boys!

My sofa and chair look worse than that! I keep buying throw covers since I can't convince Tetsu we need to get a new set! The cats, dog and Tetsu like the comfy oldness. My visitors are suspicious but not sure of the sofa state. I am mortified!

I love how the lonestar is coming along.

I want to play along with your summer class, I'll send an email as you instructed on the class blog.

I know just what you mean when you say working at 1/2 speed, only me? I think I'm at a 1/4 or even an 1/8. UGH!!! I need to get out of this funk! Hopefully your quilter visit will perk you up!

Looks like Pokey is going to pounce on the poor boys while they are sleeping! Brownie does that to Mac all the time...

A quilter visit! How fun!!!

Have a great visit!

And old chairs are the best, just no fun to look at through a stranger's eyes.

What a great shot of the cats! Intro please? The calico is cracking me up watching over things. Fantastic!

Pokey must have been in DH's lap. I'm sure of it.

Lover Kitty for sure!

Lovely to see the 'guys'. I know how camera shy they are *VBS*. You are going to have a fun time with your visit and visitor...blow those blue aways, and the tops off all of Paris!

My DH keeps saying how happy he is that we spent a ton of $$ on new furniture, that the cats are now enjoying! After all, they DO have standards! Hee hee! Yours look so sweet together. My boys don't get along that well.
Hope you had a fun visit!
