So glad ya'all are having fun with this quilt too. whatever the heck it's called. So far nothing has locked into place so I'll just call it Lego for now.
A block showing cupid fabric that Kim sent me ages ago, plus some other fabrics that should look familiar from the last few days.
An envelope in the mail yesterday from MC. Sorry the pictures turned out so lousy - late afternoon sun. I love the light colored bits in here - I really need those for this quilt. More busy florals (not made by Kaffe). oh yeah. And look the mysterious Howler as well as Habibi:
Thank you, MC! great letters and heart too!
One reason to start this quilt was to get fabric off of shelves, cut them up (10.5" squares for backs plus 2" squares plus these strips plus food for the crumb bin) and I've barely dipped into those. sigh, isn't that how it always turns out.
Anyway, I may still give it a go, esp if this does end up a king-sized quilt. So while I'm cutting strips, should I be cutting extra bits? Anyone else want uglies/unwanted/boring/dated bits from me to make their own Lego quilt (Inchworm quilt? Inch Madness?)
maybe this will give me incentive to DO it and not just talk about it.
ya'all take care. we have a lightning storm going on so time to sign off.
