Heavy Sigh

The fabric is washed but I have yet to actually sew. The dining room in the apartment is just plain dark. Cats are making use of the fabric anyway.

I still haven't gotten the results of my thyroid biopsy. Heavy sigh. Turns out the doctors have been consulting and now my endocrinologist needs to give me the news in person. That can't be good although it's not necessarily bad. It may just mean that the test was indeterminate and now I have to have some other kind of test like a surgical biopsy to know for sure. I can't get in to see the doctor until late this afternoon, so that gives me way too much time to worry.

This whole thing would not be such a pain in the ass if it weren't for our impending move. We're living in an expensive temporary apartment and just want to get to Paris. I imagine whatever the news is it's going to throw a monkey wrench into the works.

Sorry to whine to ya'all. Just needed to talk to somebody. Thanks for being here for me.

How horrible for you Tonya all this uncertainty - I hope it isn't bad news for you. The cats sure look comfy on that fabric :o)

I hate waiting! All of my fingers and toes are crossed for you. I'm hoping for news that you're just going to have to medicate.

I'm really feeling for you right now, as I know how hard it can be to be stuck in a temporary situation, waiting for another move. But soon it will be a distant memory.

I read most of your entries and I love your work and great ideas. I enjoyed your posts from Egypt but surely those from Paris will be great, too. There will be so much inspiration in all those wonderful galleries and shops. Your health will be okay, and you will spend Christmas in a much better mood. One German saying is "Today´s crises are the anecdotes of tomorrow" - maybe that helps you over your waiting-time? Not really... but I wish you all the best!

The waiting is always the worse, especially to those of us who are particularly imaginative. (Not always a good thing.)
I hope you hear something definitive soon. Thinking of you...

I'm with you on the waiting game. Very hard and difficult to stop imagining the worst. I hope you get good news and that all is well.

Thinking of you - and thinking positive that your worries come to nothing.

I'm sending positive thoughts your way...my aunt used to hang the rosary beads out the window when she needed something. I'll go find them in the packing cases!

Get it all settled before you move..it is easier to hand over your script and let them just figure out what they call in the new country!

hugs your way.

I know you don't need this right now, Tonya. As if moving isn't stressful enough, all by itself. I'm holding good thoughts and sending hugs...keep us posted.

I am so sorry for your worries. I have been there and it just makes the whole process worse to have to wait and wonder. Hopefully it won't be as bad as you think.

I love your fabric. Those are the colors I am continually drawn to. Black and white and many brights are planned for everything from a house quilt to the pineapple one I mentioned on my blog.

Feel better. Breathe deeply.

Can you feel the hugs I'm sending your way? It can't help your state of mind that you're not feeling settled where you are. I hope you feel like stitching soon, I'm sure it will calm you.

Oh I've been wondering if you had heard yet. Please make sure you email me when you find out. I keep thinking about it. The fabric looks great even folded up like that!

Funnily enough I was thinking of you yesterday whilst wandering around a tissus shop and wondering why you hadn't heard anything yet.

Sending you big hugs from France where it is a beautiful cold and clear day. Just right for a walk in the Parc Morceau.

Oh Ton, I'm so sorry to hear of the glitch in the plans. I truly hope it is nothing serious. Good that you are getting it looked at.

The furries look so happy there on your new fabric...*VBS* They seem to have adapted well to the tempory quarters. I'll keep you in my thought and prayers, as always. This too, shall pass. Hugs, Finn

You may be surprised to see me commenting on a 4 year old post, but someone dear to us has just been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. I was chatting with Bemused Jan and she suggested I read about your experience on your blog archives. May I go a step further and give you a phone call? Email me your number if you are agreeable. Thanks, Tonya.
