We'll have to take the kitties in two batches since we don't have a car. We'll take the big boys in their cages in a taxi and then hope to walk over later carrying the little girls. Just hope it's not really cold or wet tomorrow. Cross your fingers for us.
Tomorrow is the day we drag the kitties to the vet for their rabies shots. Both my husband and I are really dreading this. The vet speaks english so I know that part of it won't be a problem, it's the rounding up into carriers and transportation that is worrying.

Best of luck with the kitties! I was really surprised coming back to the US...I had all the pets paperwork in my hand ready for any question and the inspector never even asked for it. All he did was cuddle the cats, glace at Macbeth (he was a cat person) and take away any treats/food that we had carried. Totally opposite of going to England!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the kitties. In San Francisco they checked the carrier for explosives, but no one seemed concerned about our kitty's health certificate.
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous of your Noel pics. I'm missing how well germany does Xmas in contrast to Hawaii.
Good luck with your cats.
ReplyDeleteYour Noel pics are gorgeous. Just love those candy jars!
Fingers crossed for you. It's strange for us to see Christmas decorations without snow.
ReplyDeleteI can't even imagine. my dogs freak, as soon as they get in the car and I make a right out of the driveway! (at our house) not the city... cats! good luck!
ReplyDeleteCats in carriers in a taxi... mine yeows constantly when she's in her carrier so I don't envy you a bit ~ yes, you have all best wishes (during and afterwards!)
ReplyDeleteMarvelous holiday photos ~
thanks for sharing your festive holiday photos. they're so elegant!
ReplyDeletewell........hhmmmmmmm.....wonder what my last name might be....hhmmmmmmmm.......can you guess???
ReplyDeleteOMG! I can't imagine taking cats in crates in a taxi. You should take a video. Good luck. My mother's poor kitty whines the whole time he is in the crate.
ReplyDeleteOh good luck. I took Chloe today for shots too! But I drove!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the kitties -- sounds like no fun at all.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory of Xmas in Paris was the buche de Noel. Have you had that? Oh, so wonderful! If you have any this year, savor a bite for me.
Oh dear... I hope it all goes well. I dislike taking ours to the vet too. We have a 30 minute car ride with cat choruses all the way there and back. You may have to give the taxi driver a big tip!
ReplyDeleteGood luck, will the taxi driver take you? Here, they refuse. Made it very difficult before we had a car.
ReplyDeleteThis I wish I could see!!! *LOL* Good luck to you and the kitties....too bad there isn't a "house visit" vet in Paris!
ReplyDeleteBonnie
Hope it is going ok.
ReplyDeleteLove the 3rd photo.
Love all the pics. Hope all went well with the babies. Kitties just don't do very well with schedule disruptions, do they? Little do they know they have bigger disruptions ahead...
ReplyDeleteOh, poor pusses! Once again, into the breach! I think I'd consider renting a van for the day and take all of them to the vet together.
ReplyDeleteOne of the deterrents for me of returning to the U.S. is that I just couldn't contemplate shipping all seven of ours across the Pacific again. They really had a rough time, and they are STILL suspicious of us when they think something unusual might be going on...wonder if they will ever completely trust us again!
