The curry recipe on your website today looks excellent.

Thanks all ya'all for commiserating with me about the knee. It'll be better one of these days.Tonya Ricuccihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10778059489713831067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14046597.post-1131457773800482582005-11-08T08:49:00.000-05:002005-11-08T08:49:00.000-05:00Oh Ton...I'm sorry the knee is more complicated th...Oh Ton...I'm sorry the knee is more complicated than you wished for! You have a right to whine! I can't imagine the traffic situation there...it's not near as bad in SC as it was in TX with open pickup beds full of farm hands from mexico....

Your fans have me SO in the mood to get back to quilting my 'best things are quilted' words quilt. I have been studying for finals....the last finals I'll ever have to take! YEAH! But my brain is so fried I can't even think of threading a needle right now, and that's my big whine. I wish I could put the world on hold for a week so I could sit and quilt and catch up on all the movies I want....that is my ultimate decadent day..while everyone else is gone to school or work, I just want to sit and watch movies and quilt ALL DAY!!

BonnieBonnie K. I'll keep my fingers crossed that they are wrong.

Did you know I used to live in both Istanbul, Turkey as well as Manama, Bahrain? I have found that you have to KEEP on the doctors about something you KNOW (or think you KNOW!). Seems funny to me that after a long while of themt telling you what it isn't, and then it turns out to be just that, how they seem surprised by the outcome. And yes, lightening does strike more than once oftentimes. Couldn't they just treat it, too?Quiltgrannyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18442794943252912695noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14046597.post-1131374330215417782005-11-07T09:38:00.000-05:002005-11-07T09:38:00.000-05:00Oh Tonya - so sorry to hear about the news about y...Oh Tonya - so sorry to hear about the news about your knee. Hang in there, I think journaling it is a good thought. It sure can't hurt!

I"m just on for a few secs before I go and have my fun (root canal). I am not a happy camper right now! :)

DawnQuilts And Pieceshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02043640520513261597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14046597.post-1131332281258801142005-11-06T21:58:00.000-05:002005-11-06T21:58:00.000-05:00Sorry for the news about your knee, Tonya. Your journaling about it may just help pin-point something that the doctors haven't noticed, as well as help you to cope.

Don't ever feel that you're whining...that's what friends are for...a shoulder to lean on when you need.

Can you tell us about the food over there sometime? Your life in Cairo is so fascinating to me!

DarcieDarciehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16174123533089213020noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14046597.post-1131298784549702332005-11-06T12:39:00.000-05:002005-11-06T12:39:00.000-05:00Aloha Tonya.I'm sorry you're upset about your knee...Aloha Tonya.

I'm sorry you're upset about your knee. :(

I, too, liked Jack. I think they should have ended the show when his character was promoted. It's just not the same.

Too bad we can't sit and quilt together today. (Although I guess we can, we just won't be -right- next to each other.) ;)

The second book I bought with my own money was a coffee table book on King Tut. My husband traveled to Cairo when he was young and I still get him to talk about it.

It must be amazing to actually be there.

Take care and I hope you have a wonderful day.

DarilynHunterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01125852784624281411noreply@blogger.com
