Hi guys. I have been making very slow progress on the Love Anna Williams quilt. I've made a bit more progress from when this photo was taken.
I like this photo better, just because you can see Lily:
Sweet baby getting face rubs:
I need to actually sit at the machine and SEW. I've been distracted by a new toy. Here's a hint:
Of course the cats just think the box is the new toy. Howler in particular loves those air pocket things.
I do keep getting distracted, starting and switching to different projects. gack.
It's bad when you get behind in blog posting - it almost becomes overwhelming because there are soooo many things to talk about. So I need to just get this done and do more follow-ups. Some things just need their own post!
ya'all take care

The Love Anna William quit is much larger than I thought! Looks like you are making progress...
I love the picture of Pokey guarding the strips. Too cute.
Well...if you've been playing with that new toy...you'll have plenty of pieces to work with when you do sit down ;) How fun!
Yes life is full of distractions these days. I have 3 projects going right now all at different stages and what am I doing, on the computer! I am loving hand quilting my Texas quilt. I really like the needles you told me about.
Love the love quilt...love Lily getting face rubs...curious about the box.
I'm bouncing around on projects as well right now.
As Tigger would say, sometimes life is just bouncey!!
I'm nosey...what kind of quilting needles did you suggest to True Blue Nana?? I use Roxannes's #11, but always happy to audition a new kind.
Hmmmm.... I think I know what was in the box. It may be I have something similar in my own sewing room. :-)
I love that you add a generous helping of cat hair to your quilts too! Lily is busy doing her part to help you by ironing your strips:)
After waiting 6 months, I'm next to have a quilt quilted at the LQS...when I took it in to show it, a customer said 'Oooh, you have cats, I can see hair' as if that was a bad thing. I'm sorry that my children shed:))
But isn't "accu" and "unRuly" incompatible? OK, maybe incompatible is too strong of a word, but..... hmmmm, what could you be up to?
This is looking sooooo good!!!!
I know exactly what you mean about that first post when you've been away. It doesn't matter if you have a hundred things to post about, you just have to get through that first one and then it all falls into place. The rhythm of blogging. :-)
(Straining to read the print on that box. Big tease!)
Oh, and of course, I LOVE the quilt!
I am loving this quilt!
I know what both you and Jan mean though! At times there is too much to talk about and I don't know where to start! So, I end up talking about nothing! I should just talk about something and hopefully the rest will follow.
Your quilt is looking so wonderful! Love it!! I just finished up a quilt using your wonky letters paired with Gwen's baskets. You can see it on my blog today.
Thanks for your generous tutorial! I want to do more things with the alphabet!
Cats and children both love bubble wrap!
This is looking so great! I'm feeling the need to play with some solids!!

I like the way the solid borders of the blocks enhance the overall look.
So good to read any posts from you- I miss your daily posts!
Love your quilt!
Harry, the cat in my blog header LOVES those plastic inserts in packages :)
He just love to chew on just about any plastic, I have to hide the bread bags!!

The quilt is looking great. I love the piano keys.
Have you really gone and invested in an Accuquilt machine? Does this mean that our Ton is going to be making quilts with straight lines!
Love Anna is really looking good. You just continue to inspire me
I love the energy of that quilt. I am excited to see what you will be up to with that new toy... exciting times!
That is quite the treat!
