Lucky

Whee, I won a giveaway from Jan at Be*Mused. She even sent me a valentine - what a sweetie

These Japanese fabrics are so fun and I have to admit I'm getting a smile from the typos - there are some stinning dlemishes.

Not that I don't have a problem typo-ing in my own language, let alone a different one.

Has anyone tried setting up a website through Weebly? How did it go? I'm thinking it's time to set up my own webpage so that Bonnie doesn't have to keep taking care of me.

I had a website with weebly when I thought I wanted to let my family in on a little more of my life. I really liked it. Easy to use. Except I realized that mom was getting too close for comfort. Now I just have my blog that they know nothing about. Good luck.

What Dudette said; that's so funny! My mom doesn't know about my blog, either. For crying out loud, I'm nearly 50 years old! LOL!

Congrats on your win, Tonya -- what fun stuff!!! :)

I'm with Barb -- I was hoping Jan might pick me, but I know you'll have fun with these too!

Oh, those are so cute! And I love the typos! I'm glad that you won them, although I was hoping I would! Have fun with them!

I think we were all jealous when we realised you had won. At least they've gone to a good home!

I use www.yola.com for the Quilts 4 Leukaemia web site. I find it very easy to use. They provide templates and it's all set up for you. Bit like blogging.

If you need any help just shout. Though not until after Tuesday as I've used up all our internet time and won't be back online until Tuesday morning. Am typing this in the local internet café prior to French lessons.

Speak soon.

I'm so happy you git that pack of fabrics. I had my eye on it too. Engrish is just too fun. :-)

I set up a website through Weebly a couple of years ago, and it was pretty easy. You may need to register a domain, though. If you do, don't use the registrar Weebly recommends. As I recall, it cost $25 a year, which is way too high. Use NameCheap, where it's less than $10 a year.

Actually, I'd just stick with Blogger, if I were you. You don't have to fool with registering a domain, and it's all free. Just ask your friend to show you how to post stuff.

I've set up several blogs, so if you have any questions, email me!

Wanda at Exuberant Color has shifted to the new blog editor and is creating "pages" within her blog. Maybe that would work for your tutorials? I haven't tried it yet for mine, just know it is there.

If you are going to do your web page, do it well or don't do it. A few extra dollars may be well worth the end results (and lack of hassle). Your work is worth it!

Have you ever seen or heard of Engrish.com? It's a site (and shop) dedicated to mistranslations and misspellings of the english language. Some of it is a hoot!
