I'm playing. It was easier when I was just sewing triangles. Trying to figure out what to do with them and what to make next is harder.
Maybe I'll do a Medallion, maybe it will be Bars. Dunno. I actually love the busy-ness of all these patterns jammed close together without sashing/borders. But then I think, am I going to hand-quilt this? aye yay yay. If I am going to quilt this myself, maybe I really do want some plain fabric...
And, because there can never be enough photos of Pokey, here's my sweet girl:

Don't you just love how cats can curl themselves up so tight to only lie on fabric? Way too cute.
I still like the idea of a white border in there somewhere to make the colours stand out.
"What's she woken me up for this time?!"
Tonya that quilt is looking wonderful!
Good folly lady I LOVE your colors... the rusty browns are SO perfect... Your so crazy inspiring! Looks fantastic!
I know Pokey is a big help, holding down that fabric so it won't blow away. What a cutie.
Whoa, these blocks really stir up interest. The colors look rich and true. A whole quilt with the section on the left or the section on the far right would be interesting to see. Can't imagine what to do with them all together. It will be amazing to see what comes up for you.
Pokey is doing a great job helping. She sure is beautiful!
I love calicos.
Love those colors! Cats are always helpful when quilting. My kitty Molly was helping me yesterday by laying on the quilt as I was sewing the binding on it. Like Gypsy said, she wanted to be sure it wouldn't blow away while I was working on it.
I really love those triangles!!! I wish I was brave enough to make a Lib Amish quilt with those. I know yours will be great!!!
so much color! wonderful.
Oh, Pokey, you sweetie. Now here's an experiment I'd try...gradually decrease the size of that scrap basket. It doesn't matter how small it is, they will manage to squish themselves into it.
I can't wait to see how this turns out! Oh, and "Ho Pokey!"
What fun to just play and dream. Whatever the results, I know they will be grand.
Really, I don't think you could go wrong with anything you do using these blocks!
OMG--what fantastic colors and shapes all getting acquainted on your design wall. LOVE all those triangles. Maybe not fun to make, but HUGE impact.
pokey is the cutest kittie ever! she is always doing something sweet.
Love the solids your working with.
have fun!
