Sorry I have been so neglectful. I haven't gotten back up to full energy yet, but I'm feeling fine, mostly. Thank you all for your wonderful emails, cards, gifts, notes, and calls. I appreciate each and every one even though I've been terrible about responding.
I had a wonderful visit with my aunt, just sorry that she couldn't stay even longer. My husband arrived safely and it's been great having him here. A whole bunch of boxes arrived on Monday, my belongings from France that I wanted here rather than in storage. Of course the movers somehow managed to lose all the wires needed to put the shelves in the bookcases (aka fabric cases) so my husband had to do some DIY fiddling to make it work. Voila, Pokey has another place to hide.
It's frustrating to be so incapacitated. I'm not allowed to lift more than 3 pounds (though I'm not even sure how much that is) or bend down to pick things up. Poor sweetie pie pretty much had to do all the work to get the boxes moved around and emptied. But at last the boxes are empty and I can once again get to the computer.

Glad to hear that you are well. Wonderful to have family to help during a time of need. Glad to see Pokey. She is looking beautiful!
Have a great day!
I've been wondering how you're doing. Glad to hear you're doing well. Looks like Pokey has a lot of boxes to hide in. lol
I am so glad to hear that you are okay! Take your time recovering...the world isn't running way ( that's what my father always says)! I'm glad that your hubby is taking good care of you.
I recognise the shelves and some of the fabrics!
Great to read that your sweetie is finally with you, taking care of you and les chattes et chats. Hope you are both catching up on needed "us" time, TV shows and DVD's.
Woo hoo - we have Broadband via satellite!!!!!
Hugs.
Welcome back! Take care of yourself. We need you out here in computer land.

Glad to hear you're coming along. It will get better every day, but DO listen to your body!
And what a gift to get your belongings in your house safe and sound...
So glad to hear you're doing well! That's a wonderful picture of Pokey too.
good to hear that you are doing well with your recovery. taking it easy now will only make your recovery that much easier. Can't wait to see what you have been hand quilting.
It looks like Pokey is picking the fabrics for your next project...I wish my Weasley would do that! That's why I love scrap quilts...no decisions for me (or the cat).
Continued healing vibes coming your way...
Teresa :o)
Tonya, So glad you're back quilting. Just continue to take it easy and enjoy being waited on. Pokey is so beautiful. I think of you when I'm getting my Halloween out for display. Mimi
Wow, I'm glad to hear that you are doing ok.
ttfn :) Yuki
Such happy news - you're doing well AND your DH is there for you!! I know it's hard, but let him wait on you. (Enjoy it while you can!) I'm in the same boat at the moment, so I understand what you're going thru.
Pokey is looking good and I'm sure she's helping you get better too.
I've missed you, so get better soonest! *grin*
3 pounds is about half the weight of a conventional bag of sugar or flour. It's not much. And that indicates that you should take the restriction seriously.
I know it isn't easy but you'll heal faster and better and that's what counts. Hope you've got some good books and old movies. Old movies got me through the recuperation from shoulder surgery. ;>
Tonya, so glad to have you back and most importantly you are well again. Must be nice to have DH home again. Enjoy and take care - Hugs Natima
Well, that's a relief, I was starting to worry... enjoy having hubby wait on you, it doesn't happen too often! And lovely to see a Pokey pic, I've missed her too.
So glad that you are well into your recovery, but as others have said don't try to overdo. Enjoy your husband's company while he is with you and don't worry about postings - we are patient.
ooh! looks like a lot of work... take it slow!!!
So glad to hear from you and so happy that your DH is with you (as well as your DF (dear fabric)). Take care - God bless!!
Glad to hear all is well and you had a lovely visit with your Aunt. Very special time! And I just love the photos of your cat!

Wishing you a speedy recovery Tonya
and continued good health.
Happy Sewing
Tonya,
It's so good to read that you are on the mend. Of course you feel better with more of your fabric and "things" around you. Did you put out your Halloween decorations???
so glad to know you're still alive and kickin! Been praying for you.
Wonderful to hear from you. Very glad you are feeling better every day. It is nice to see Pokey having fun!
Take your time healing and getting strong.
Prayers for you and your furry family.

Having a general anasthetic (how do you spell that?!) takes a lot out of you, and the effects stay in your system for some considerable time. Take care of yourself and enjoy being looked after!
So glad to see you again and hear that all is well. Pokey looks like she's having fun. Take it easy and get lots of rest!
Ha! I love the photo of your cat in the fabric! You should name your next cat "Stash"!
