When my friend Susan was here we went to a really fun bar on the Intercoastal Waterway. What can I say, I love Beach Kitsch:
I experimented with exporting file sizes and image quality from iPhoto. Picasa was still easier, but I'll get better at this eventually. These are my small images and they really are small.
My power went out as I was writing this post and now I've completely lost my train of thought...
What a sight for sore eyes -- I woke up to an inch of snow, and they say 3-5 inches more on Saturday... Love that purple door on the green wall in the last photo. Those pineapples look likes eyes and eyelashes!
I love the last photo. Purple doors are a favorite of mine and with pineapples to boot. How fun! Mind if I borrow it with "Lazy Gal Quilting" reference?
Nice job with the pictures. Did you happen to get one of the world's largest coconut that they mentioned on their sign? (Kind of reminds me of the carnivals and state fairs where they ask you go come inside and look at the world's smallest horse or the world's smallest lady!!! LOL)
Looking out my window onto snow and ice, it really gives me reason to hope when I see that SOMEWHERE there is sun and greenness. And purple doors with pineapples on them.

Great fun.
I've moved back to Blogspot. Could you be an angel and change the links on the Lazy Gal classes. Thanks.
Looks like fun to me! I am so sick of cold weather!

How fun! I can't wait less than a month and I will be vactioning in the sun!
Oh that looks like a really fun place!
Very nice pics!
Even though I also call Florida my home, I never get tired of places like this. I wouldn't live anywhere else in the world!
What is it about tropical locales that make Kitsch so appropriate? And why would anyone at the tiki bar want "Ice Cold Women?"
But did you see the World's Largest Coconut? I love Florida places like that.
Looks like a great place! And probably warmer than here! Love the pictures!
The purple shutters with the green house are wonderful! Can you imagine my neighborhood homeowners association if I did that! Too fun to imagine!
Ooo, love that color combo in the last photo! I may just hang out here for a while and pretend I'm on the beach with you...
Yes, I'm right there with Magpie Sue... that lavender and sea-green... *sigh* ... wonderful
Love the looks of that bar! And the sunshine!
Congrats on the neat Wonky Houses piece in Quiltmaker!
So where's the picture of the world's largest coconut?

What fun!! No wonder I keep dreaming of retiring to Florida!!
Charming place, order me a coconut drink, will you please?
