I always love seeing what ya'all have done with the letters tutorials. Ana Sweet tried the letters for the first time and came up with this great quilt top (with one of her boy kitties providing the model):
The cats are from Buggy Barn's Crazy Cat pattern. And I think the flowers too - Ana used yo-yos for the centers.
The words say FACE: The Solution is Prevention. FACE is an Indianapolis center providing low-cost spaying and neutering for cats and dogs. Ana intends to donate her quilt to the organization, a very worthy cause. Didn't Ana do a great job?
On a completely different note, Am I losing my mind? Is this what getting older is all about? Yesterday I made a pot of lentil soup, then forgot to put the soup in the fridge afterwards. Aaaaghh. It was yummy too.

What a fun quilt. I haven't tried one with letters yet, but it's "on the list". The lentil soup debacle does sound like a teensy senior moment!
great quilt, love the layout. get ready, forgetfulness gets worse. i keep putting the ice cream back in the fridge instead of the freezer. another form of soup.
forgetting to put soup in the fridge is NOT getting older -- its simply a result of being too busy and having an active mind juggling too many thoughts:-) That's my story and I'm sticking to it! :-)))
i love this quilt. I have been quilting for about 10 years, but never put letters on one. I do some more memory type. anyway, I came across your blog through a quilt blog search. I'll be back for sure
This is such a cute quilt!
Just catching up on your blog and that is potentially good news on the book!!
If leaving the soup out is old age, then I'm ancient. I think I'll side with Quilt Pixie on this one!
Great quilt!
Ana - just wonderful!
I can't tell you how many times I've left food out after a meal. Sigh!!! I'm only 52!
oh my what an amazing quilt!!! I love those kitties. She did a great job, but your cats are cuter (of course!)
I would love to have that cat pattern, but the book is still so expesive.
