Clive Owen shilling at the Magasins du Printemps.
And George Clooney. The billboards are down now and the building is covered with lights for the holiday season.
The door handle.
Statuary at the Jardin des Tulieries, you can see the Egyptian obelisk there at the Place de la Concorde. I've been calling that thing Cleopatra's Needle, but it's not. Cleo's obelisk is in London.
Headless cherubs wrestling a crocodile. Some of this stuff is just bizarre.
And a roman looking dude who's lost his wrist. That must have hurt.
Here are a couple of fun places to see santas: over at Comicbooklady's here and Kristin's here. An absolute hoot: A Cats Christmas website with kitties Iris and Fern "helping" to put up and decorate christmas trees.

There's been sun this morning, but I don't know if I can pry my husband out of the recliner to go out and take a walk. Might have to go on my own. On the other hand, I could stay here and do some of the sewing I've been neglecting. agh, too many options.

Thanks for another mini-tour of Paris. I always enjoy them.
The Kitten Decorating Krew was fabulous! Thanks for the link!
(No action on my potential Christmas quilt yet. Will keep you posted.)
Ok I have to say I just love it here! This has nothing to do with your post. I love your stuff. I stumbled on this a while ago and then lost the link. I found it again today and just wanted to say how wonderful I think you are. I love the freedom your quilting allows. Thank you for the inspiration!
Those cats are hilarious! I do have more Santas, those are just the hand carved ones. Perhaps I'll get a photo of them all together....
As always, wonderful pictures! Just why are the cherubs headless? And the soldier wristless? Was this war damage? That door is amazing!
Lovely Christmas Cats web site - thanks for the link.
Have you taken any photos of the horses in the Place de la Concorde? One of my all time favourite books is The Blessing by Nancy Mitford. Little boy whose parents are separated. His father lives in Paris and he "rides" the horses in the Place when they are being cleaned.
What a beautiful city Paris is! Thanks for the tip on kitty decorating! This is our first year with kitties and Mr. Squirt bottle is doing double duty of late. Really it's only Mr. B, he can't resist anything shiny and dangling!
Ton, you take such great photos! They always look well focused and composed. Thanks for the tour of Paris! Loved the kitty decorating link! It was hilarious.
Oh wow! Thank you for the pictures of the Opera house. Absolutely my favorite. I love the angel statues. Thank you. :D
Hugs,
Melinda
My vote? Quick walk in the sun, and back home for some quality quilty time. Then again -- that's just me :0). Whatever you decide, have a great day!
